Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Race meeting by Kevin Charles Hart was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Australian and South African Art auction at Christies in London in December 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 7,877.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Kevin Charles Hart have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Banjo Patterson Mural in May 2003 with an auction result of AUD 99,875.00 (€ 55,285.22).

Die Arbeit Race meeting von Kevin Charles Hart wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Australian and South African Art bei Christies in London versteigert.
