In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Australian ArtIncluding Works by New Zealand and South African Artists, which included the work Dragonfly by Kevin Charles Hart. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,250.00 (€ 3,057.37), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kevin Charles Hart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Banjo Patterson Mural in May 2003 with an auction result of AUD 99,875.00 (€ 55,285.22).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Australian ArtIncluding Works by New Zealand and South African Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dragonfly von Kevin Charles Hart zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 3.057,37) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kevin Charles Hart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Banjo Patterson Mural im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 99.875,00 (€ 55.285,22).
