Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work "Windborne" by Kent Ullberg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 8,500.00 (€ 829.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kent Ullberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Eagles point", which sold at auction in December 2011 for SEK 27,000.00 (€ 3,026.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Windborne" von Kent Ullberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 8.500,00 (€ 829,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Kent Ullberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Eagles point" beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für SEK 27.000,00 (€ 3.026,13) versteigert wurde.
