Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Giraffe by Kenneth Bunn was sold in the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in September 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,714.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kenneth Bunn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vantage Point (Black Bear), which sold at auction in February 2019 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,871.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Giraffe von Kenneth Bunn wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.714,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
