Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kenneth Noland was auctioned at Christies in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 50,400.00 (€ 46,357.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Noland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rocker in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 4,255,000.00 (€ 3,489,421.03).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kenneth Noland kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 46.357,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Noland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rocker im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.255.000,00 (€ 3.489.421,03).
