Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Kenneth Noland was auctioned at Christies in New York in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 60,480.00 (€ 55,629.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Noland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rocker in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 4,255,000.00 (€ 3,489,421.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kenneth Noland kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 60.480,00 (€ 55.629,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Noland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rocker im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.255.000,00 (€ 3.489.421,03).
