A top price for Kenneth H. Knight
When the work South Coast Seascape by Kenneth H. Knight was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in November 2004, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - AUD 1,200.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at AUD 5,975.00 (€ 3,480.27). This high result makes South Coast Seascape the most expensive artwork by Kenneth H. Knight that we have observed at auctions so far.
