A top price for Kenji Misawa - as previously expected
The work Column Series: All Over Walk by Kenji Misawa was sold in the Asobi: Japanese & Korean Postwar Art auction at Christies in London in October 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 38,991.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Column Series: All Over Walk is the most expensive artwork by Kenji Misawa that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 38.991,06) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
