Despite a disappointment, a good price for Ken Keeley
In August 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Building a ship model by Ken Keeley for USD 187.50 (€ 147.59). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Building a ship model is the most expensive artwork by Ken Keeley that we have observed at auction so far.
