A top price for Kelsey Heffernan - as previously expected
In August last year Christies in New York held the auction Insider Art: Christie’s New York Staff Show, which included the work Gridlock by Kelsey Heffernan. The price achieved of USD 504.00 (€ 500.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gridlock is the most expensive artwork by Kelsey Heffernan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im August letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Insider Art: Christie’s New York Staff Show durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gridlock von Kelsey Heffernan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 504,00 (€ 500,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Gridlock das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kelsey Heffernan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
