This artwork by Keith Hope Shackleton achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in April last year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work First of the Brents, Dip Rythe, Chichester Harbour sold for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,344.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Keith Hope Shackleton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work S.Y. Sea Cloud at Bora Bora, which sold at auction in July 2006 for USD 11,400.00 (€ 8,931.37).

In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit First of the Brents, Dip Rythe, Chichester Harbour für GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.344,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Keith Hope Shackleton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit S.Y. Sea Cloud at Bora Bora beobachtet, die im Juli 2006 für USD 11.400,00 (€ 8.931,37) versteigert wurde.
