Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Still life by Keith Henderson for GBP 60.00 (€ 88.05). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Watercolours at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 350.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Henderson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jacana, Lake Naivasha in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,335.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life von Keith Henderson für GBP 60,00 (€ 88,05) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 350,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Henderson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jacana, Lake Naivasha im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 900,00 (€ 1.335,55).
