Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunset Gruinard Bay by Keith Frederick Grant was sold in the Irish and 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in May 2004. The price achieved of GBP 657.25 (€ 986.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Keith Frederick Grant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain Coast, Triptych in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 2,868.00 (€ 4,303.06).
