Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I Was Waiting for You by Kazuna Taguchi was sold in the Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. It changed hands for a price of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 10,426.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kazuna Taguchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Remembering What's Been Forgotten; A bit of Anxiety if I Can Call It That; I Was Waiting for You; Love Is Like the Measles & My Eyes are Your Eyes in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 547,500.00 (€ 45,073.75).

Die Arbeit I Was Waiting for You von Kazuna Taguchi wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 10.426,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kazuna Taguchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Remembering What's Been Forgotten; A bit of Anxiety if I Can Call It That; I Was Waiting for You; Love Is Like the Measles & My Eyes are Your Eyes im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 547.500,00 (€ 45.073,75).
