It achieved a price of EUR 1,553.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Katsukawa Shuntei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 4,750.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.553,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Katsukawa Shuntei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert wurde.
