A top price for Kathleen Moir Morris - as previously expected
In November 2012 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Maple Sugar Time by Kathleen Moir Morris. The price achieved of CAD 71,500.00 (€ 55,336.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Maple Sugar Time is the most expensive artwork by Kathleen Moir Morris that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maple Sugar Time von Kathleen Moir Morris zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 71.500,00 (€ 55.336,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Maple Sugar Time das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kathleen Moir Morris, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
