Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Theatre, Spot light II by Katherine Bradford was sold in the Satellite: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 7 - in September this year. The price achieved of HKD 25,400.00 (€ 3,064.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Katherine Bradford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Swimmer, 4 Lifeguards in November this year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 138,613.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Theatre, Spot light II von Katherine Bradford wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Satellite: Online Auction bei Phillips in 7 - versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.400,00 (€ 3.064,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Katherine Bradford erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Swimmer, 4 Lifeguards im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 138.613,86).
