Auction result well in line with expectations
The work For Schiele by Katerina Belkina was sold in the 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,613.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Katerina Belkina - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work For Lempicka, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,298.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit For Schiele von Katerina Belkina wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.613,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Katerina Belkina mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit For Lempicka beobachtet, die im November 2018 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.298,86) versteigert wurde.
