Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Still life with a Canton famille rose teapot and camellias by Kate Hayllar. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,774.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kate Hayllar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 50,190.00 (€ 73,275.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with a Canton famille rose teapot and camellias von Kate Hayllar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.774,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kate Hayllar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.190,00 (€ 73.275,82).
