Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre, 2017 by Kassou Seydou was auctioned at Artcurial in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 1,968.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kassou Seydou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On rit et c’est genial (We Laugh and it’s Great) in May last year with an auction result of HKD 504,000.00 (€ 59,835.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre, 2017 von Kassou Seydou kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.968,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kassou Seydou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On rit et c’est genial (We Laugh and it’s Great) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 504.000,00 (€ 59.835,62).
