The work Evening Sun by Karl Theodor Boehme was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,512.12), 62% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Karl Theodor Boehme; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Capri. 1926. sold at auction in December 2017 with the realized price of CHF 12,900.00 (€ 11,018.97).

Die Arbeit Evening Sun von Karl Theodor Boehme wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.512,12) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Karl Theodor Boehme; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Capri. 1926. im Dezember 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von CHF 12.900,00 (€ 11.018,97).
