Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Storm on the Chiemsee by Karl Raupp for USD 5,975.00 (€ 4,865.64). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Raupp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Sunny Afternoon on the Chiemsee in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 58,750.00 (€ 69,231.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Storm on the Chiemsee von Karl Raupp für USD 5.975,00 (€ 4.865,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Raupp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Sunny Afternoon on the Chiemsee im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 58.750,00 (€ 69.231,68).
