Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Senza Titolo by Karl Plattner was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 7,450.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24 %. Admittedly, works by Karl Plattner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Reggiseno Bianco in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 39,150.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Karl Plattner wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.450,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Plattner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Reggiseno Bianco im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.150,00.
