This artwork by Karl Plattner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2003. In the IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST-WAR ART auction, the work Fisch sold for GBP 2,937.50 (€ 2,958.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Plattner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Reggiseno Bianco in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 39,150.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Plattner erzielte im September 2003 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST-WAR ART wurde die Arbeit Fisch für GBP 2.937,50 (€ 2.958,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Plattner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Reggiseno Bianco im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.150,00.
