This work of art by Karl Ludwig Prinz could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Watercolours auction, the work Alpine Chalets changed hands for GBP 480.00 (€ 702.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Despite this disappointing result, Alpine Chalets is the most expensive artwork by Karl Ludwig Prinz that we have observed at auction so far.
