Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Karl Larsen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Still life with flowers changed hands for DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.35) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Larsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Palm trees, Southern France in March this year with an auction result of DKK 75,000.00 (€ 10,064.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Larsen konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Still life with flowers für DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Larsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Palm trees, Southern France im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 75.000,00 (€ 10.064,85).
