In April this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included the work Still life with flowers by Karl Larsen. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 10,000.00 (€ 1,341.49), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Karl Larsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Palm trees, Southern France in March this year with an auction result of DKK 75,000.00 (€ 10,064.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with flowers von Karl Larsen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 10.000,00 (€ 1.341,49) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Larsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Palm trees, Southern France im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 75.000,00 (€ 10.064,85).
