This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of André Leon Talley: Online at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Lagerfeld - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans titre, which sold at auction in December 2021 for EUR 52,500.00.

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Collection of André Leon Talley: Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Lagerfeld mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans titre beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für EUR 52.500,00 versteigert wurde.
