Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,080.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Girardet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winterlandschaft mit Holzsammlern. 1849. in December 2015 with an auction result of CHF 29,300.00 (€ 26,936.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit L'Allée De Zermatt À Stalden von Karl Girardet wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.080,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Girardet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winterlandschaft mit Holzsammlern. 1849. im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 29.300,00 (€ 26.936,36).
