Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by K. Laxma Goud was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in September 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,250.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by K. Laxma Goud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,305.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von K. Laxma Goud wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.250,42) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von K. Laxma Goud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.305,31).
