This work without title by K. G. Subramanyan was sold in the Boundless: India auction at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2019. The result of INR 1,000,000.00 (€ 12,614.57) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of INR 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by K. G. Subramanyan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mask, Icon, Mount, Mascot in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 144,350.81).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von K. G. Subramanyan wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Boundless: India bei Sothebys in Mumbai versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von INR 1.000.000,00 (€ 12.614,57) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von INR 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von K. G. Subramanyan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mask, Icon, Mount, Mascot im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 144.350,81).
