Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jurjen de Haan was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 717.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jurjen de Haan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 2,031.50.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jurjen de Haan wurde im Juni 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 717,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Jurjen de Haan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 2.031,50 versteigert wurde.
