Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled; Salt Merchants - Two Works by Jumana Emil Abboud was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. The price achieved of USD 625.00 (€ 416.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jumana Emil Abboud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work i) Unspoken Truths ii) Unspoken Truths II iii) Pink Veil iv) Seeing in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,249.55).
