Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Julius Zuber could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work The Red Slipper changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,807.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Julius Zuber have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2012 by the work Meditation at USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,568.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julius Zuber konnte im Juni 2009 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit The Red Slipper für USD 13.750,00 (€ 9.807,42) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Julius Zuber wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2012 die Arbeit Meditation mit USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.568,79).
