The work L'elemosina by Julius Geertz was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2015. It achieved a price of EUR 1,300.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30 %. Admittedly, works by Julius Geertz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blind man's buff in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,223.61).

Die Arbeit L'elemosina von Julius Geertz kam im November 2015 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.300,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julius Geertz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blind man's buff im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.223,61).
