Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a Soldier with view to Gisselfeld Castle by Julius Exner for DKK 4,000.00 (€ 3,495.89). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Julius Exner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Artist'S Model in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,143.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a Soldier with view to Gisselfeld Castle von Julius Exner für DKK 4.000,00 (€ 3.495,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julius Exner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Artist'S Model im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.143,24).
