Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Hirondelles by Julius Baltazar for EUR 700.00. This price was achieved in the auction I Coluri d'Umani - Contemporary Art Sale Benefiting to Association pour une Fondation de Corse at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 801.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julius Baltazar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in February 2013 for EUR 1,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hirondelles von Julius Baltazar für EUR 700,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion I Coluri d'Umani - Contemporary Art Sale Benefiting to Association pour une Fondation de Corse bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 801,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Julius Baltazar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für EUR 1.600,00 versteigert wurde.
