It achieved a price of EUR 23,400.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. Admittedly, works by Julije Knifer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in December last year with an auction result of EUR 94,464.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1988 von Julije Knifer wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art II bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 23.400,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julije Knifer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 94.464,00.
