Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Orchids in a silver bowl on a table draped in lace by Julien Stappers was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2003. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 2,745.91). Other works by Julien Stappers have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,637.19) in December 2006 for the work Still life with roses in a vase.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Orchids in a silver bowl on a table draped in lace von Julien Stappers kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.880,00 (€ 2.745,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Julien Stappers haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.637,19) im Dezember 2006 für die Arbeit Still life with roses in a vase beobachtet.
