In October 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary African Art, which included the work Bois Caïmans Et Erzuli by Julien Sinzogan. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,848.83). With this result, Bois Caïmans Et Erzuli is even the most expensive work of art by Julien Sinzogan that we have observed at auctions so far.
