Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Kenya by Julian Barrow for GBP 240.00 (€ 350.32). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Barrow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Santa Maria Della Salute, Venice in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,523.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Kenya von Julian Barrow für GBP 240,00 (€ 350,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Barrow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Santa Maria Della Salute, Venice im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.523,41).
