Despite a disappointment, a good price for Julia Goldman
In March 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work (i) Girl 3 (ii) Girl 5 by Julia Goldman for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,450.84). This price was achieved in the auction Handpicked: 50 works selected by the Saatchi Collection - Online Only at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, (i) Girl 3 (ii) Girl 5 is the most expensive artwork by Julia Goldman that we have observed at auction so far.
