A top price for Jules-Romain Joyant - as previously expected
In July 2017 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work The Riva degli Schiavoni with the Doge's Palace, the Piazzetta and Santa Maria della Salute, Venice by Jules-Romain Joyant. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,475.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Riva degli Schiavoni with the Doge's Palace, the Piazzetta and Santa Maria della Salute, Venice is the most expensive artwork by Jules-Romain Joyant that we have observed at auctions so far.
