In October 2011 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, which included the work Marine Au Clair De Lune by Jules Noël. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 620.00 55% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Noël achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Comprenant Trente-Quatre Vues Animées : 5 Vues De Saint Malo, 5 Vues De Rennes, 6 Vues De L'Île De Groix, 5 Vues De Saint Omer, Une Vue De Béthune, 4 Vues De Calais, Une Vue De Montfort, 2 Vues De Saint Servan, Une Vue De Cancale, 3 Vues De in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 9,563.00.

Im Oktober 2011 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marine Au Clair De Lune von Jules Noël zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 620,00 und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Noël erzielen.
