Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two studies of nude boys by Jules Émile Saintin was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2001. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 822.50 (€ 972.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Émile Saintin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Lever in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 135,220.41).

Die Arbeit Two studies of nude boys von Jules Émile Saintin kam im Mai 2001 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 822,50 (€ 972,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Émile Saintin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Lever im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 135.220,41).
