Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,895.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Coignet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frenchrumelihisari, The Bosphorus Beyond in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,708.51).
