Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A pastoral liaison by Jules Alexis Muenier was sold in the Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,297.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Alexis Muenier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Le Calme (Serenity) in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 216,000.00 (€ 158,125.92).

Die Arbeit A pastoral liaison von Jules Alexis Muenier wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.297,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
