Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Christies in Madrid held the auction Spanish Sale - Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture from Old Master Pictures to Contemporary Art., which included the work Sin título by Juan Ugalde. The price achieved of EUR 4,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Ugalde - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Atocha Oklahoma, which sold at auction in October 2008 for EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion Spanish Sale - Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture from Old Master Pictures to Contemporary Art. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin título von Juan Ugalde zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Ugalde mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Atocha Oklahoma beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für EUR 10.000,00 versteigert wurde.
