Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included this untitled work by Juan Roberto Diago. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,998.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Roberto Diago - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,942.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Juan Roberto Diago zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.998,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Roberto Diago mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.942,07) versteigert wurde.
