Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Paintings, which included the work Pintura #7 by Juan Melé. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,500.00 (€ 52,546.79). Other works by Juan Melé have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 75,000.00 (€ 68,064.25) in November 2019 for the work Planos y lineas No. 59.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pintura #7 von Juan Melé zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.500,00 (€ 52.546,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Juan Melé haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 68.064,25) im November 2019 für die Arbeit Planos y lineas No. 59 beobachtet.
